The Camera Mind and Eye.
I agree with many points in this article because it provides a point of view about photography and painting. This article describes the differences between creating through a painting and a photograph. Through some experience, there are many differences in creating a painting and taking a photograph. Taking a photograph still uses some creative thought but is limited to the use of skill. White talks about how we photograph things we like, things we hate and things of indifference. These are great things to photograph but take little skill and creative thought. Painting takes these ideas but also uses skill and creative thought. We have to process our likes, hates, and indifferences onto a canvas. White also talks about state of mind. while painters are in a state of mind to paint when painting. photographers are always in a state of mind to photograph. They are constantly on the look out to capture that moment at the right time.
